SihanoukVille Train at the SihanoukVille Tourist Port

The SihanoukVille Train Station is right behind the SihanoukVille Tourist Port.

Trains from Kampot, Kep, Phnom Penh and beyond (and in between)

The train station might be close to the Port, but you probably don’t want to walk.

Tuk Tuks, carts pulled by or attached to a motorcycle, are waiting just outside the train station. It’s about a 2 minute ride. (Unless there are hundreds of truck waiting to get to the Port. This can add on a few minutes.)

About $1.25 (U.S.) between the Port and Train Station.

You can also call or book in advance a GRAB or PassApp Tuk Tuk.
A free app which gets you the best price (usually). Very easy to use.
Both of these services are widely available throughout Cambodia’s bigger cities and towns.

The train leaves SihanoukVille to Kampot, Kep and Phnom Penh at 12:40pm It will probably be 5 to 10 minutes late. The Train from Kampot to Phmon Penh will almost definetly depart late. 30 minutes. 60 minutes, 2 hours???! Be warned. The train schedule changes all the time, so you’ll have to check yourself.

If you arrive at the port too late, you can maybe talk to your boat company right at the Port and take the next ferry out to the Islands. If not, you’ll have to book another ticket.
