Most public buses to and from SihanoukVille depart from and arrive at the SihanoukVille Tourist Port.
For unknown reasons, way more tourists want to travel to SihanoukVille’s tropical islands, than want to visit the city of SihanoukVille.
Buses depart the SihanoukVille Tourist Port starting at 7am until late afternoon, and arrive at the Port between 8am and 4pm.
You can hire a private taxi or van from anywhere in Cambodia to get you door to door service between the Port and wherever you want to be.
All buses and other vehicles stop just outside the entrance to the Port. Really easy. It’s about 100 meters away from the boats.
You can also park your vehicles inside the Port for 25 cents and up.

It’s about 2 hours to get to the SihanoukVille Tourist Port from Kampot by train or road, and 2.5 hours from Phnom Penh by road.
